HOW IT HAPPENED:
Game 1:

- In the second, sophomore MakaylahMutz crushed a pitch for a no-doubt home run to left to cut the deficit to 3-1.
- In the fourth, the Setters regained their three-run edge with a Zoie Iverson RBI single.
- Pace added two more in the sixth on a sacrifice fly and RBI single as well as an RBI single in the seventh for the 7-1 win.
Game 2:
- Arielle Acosta led off the game with a double for Pace and was driven in by Carberry with two outs for a 1-0 Pace lead.
- In the third, Carberry drove in two more runs with a double; two batters later, Iverson did the same thing to put pace up 5-0.
- AIC hit the scoreboard in a big way in the third, with sophomore Olivia Ortega crushing a home run to left. Her classmate, Bonnie Kennedy, followed with a single. The next three batters then walked, with Mutz's walk forcing Kennedy home to make the score 5-2.
- Pace came back with five runs in the fourth inning to take a 10-2 lead.
- In the fifth, senior Ashley Hughes singled to right; three batters later, Kennedy ripped a double to left to drive her in.
- That was the last of the scoring as Pace won 10-3.
