HOW IT HAPPENED:
Game 1:
  • The Dolphins were on the board in the top of the first inning. They scored a pair of unearned runs on two hits and an AIC error.
  • Sophomore Kacie Allison had the first AIC hit of the day as she singled to left field to lead things off in the second.
  • The Dolphins added another run in the top of the third to take a 3-0 lead. In the fifth inning, Le Moyne added another pair of runs to extend their lead before pushing three across in the top of the sixth. Le Moyne took game one by a score of 8-0.

Game 2:
  • The Dolphins' bats remained hot in the top of the first as they went deep to right for a two-run home run.
  • The Yellow Jackets tried to get things going in the bottom of the second. Allison started with a single up the middle with one out. Sophomore Brianna Rivera then singled to second base and gave AIC runners on first and second. That was the closest the Yellow Jackets got to home in the inning as the Dolphins were able to use a fielder's choice and a fly out to end the threat.
  • After adding a run in the third, the Dolphins scored five runs on three hits and an error in the fourth to take an 8-0 lead, which ended as the final score.

UP NEXT:
  • The Yellow Jackets will hit the road and take on Adelphi University in a doubleheader on Thursday, April 17 starting at 2:30 p.m.
