Game 1:
- The Chargers came out firing in the bottom of the first inning, scoring three runs on four hits and two errors. In the bottom of the second, New Haven added a run to make it 4-0. They continued to roll in the bottom the third as they added six runs on five hits.
- With two outs in the top of the first, freshman Victoria Andrade walked on a 3-2 pitch to give AIC its first baserunner of the day. Sophomore Makaylah Mutz followed up with a single to center; the lone Yellow Jacket hit of the game. New Haven took the game 10-0.
Game 2:
- The Yellow Jackets got the scoring going in the top of the first. Sophomore Bonnie Kennedy led things off with a walk. Senior Sarah Baganz pushed Kennedy over to second on a sacrifice bunt, which was followed by an Andrade walk. After a fielder's choice where Kennedy was out at third, Mutz and Andrade found themselves at second and third. Sophomore Kacie Allison singled to the pitcher, and Andrade scored.
- New Haven answered with a pair of runs to take a 2-1 lead.
- Senior Ashley Hughes singled through the left side to lead off the top of the second. With Hughes on second and two outs, Kennedy singled, and Hughes came around to tie the game.
- The Chargers kept the runs coming as they took a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the second.
- Once again, the Yellow Jackets strung things together. Andrade hit a leadoff double. She advanced to third on a groundout to short before scoring on a single from Allison to make it 4-3.
- New Haven added four runs in the fourth and another in the fifth as the Chargers took the game 9-3.
