ALBANY, New York The American International College men's lacrosse team fell 23-5 to The College of Saint Rose in Northeast-10 Conference play on Wednesday, March 27.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Golden Knights came out hot as they scored the first 12 goals of the game over 22 minutes. AIC answered with back-to-back goals from freshmen Jason Vickery and Stephen Stratton about three and a half minutes apart. At the break, the Golden Knights had a 15-2 lead.
• Freshman Avery Foye found the back of the net once while freshman Rusty Stone scored twice to give the Yellow Jackets' their five goals of the day as they came up short, 23-5.

FERRENTI-NO:

• Rookie goalkeeper Alphonse Ferrintino made his third straight start in net and stopped at least 17 shots for the third game in a row.

• AIC will host No. 4 Merrimack College on Saturday, March 30 at 5 p.m. in an NE10 showdown
