COACH'S NOTES:

• "Meri played a great match today at 1," said AIC tennis head coach Loni Hammons."She was down 0-4 in the second set, and was able to come back to win the next six games in a row to take the set and match. Taylor and Cecilia at No. 2 doubles started to find their rhythm late in the set, so I believe they will play even better come Saturday."
• "Right now, our scores are not reflecting the level or length of play that we are having during competition," Hammons said."We need to continue working on our mental toughness and nerves at the clutch moments in each game. We have to work on getting out of our comfort zones and play with a lot more variety."
