PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.- The American International College softball team rounded out a three-game road series at Pace on Sunday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets fell to the Setters 12-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Game 1:
- With runners on first and second and one out, senior Alexa DiLeo singled to left in the first inning to make it a one nothing game. Junior Kaley Kempf then doubled to left center to score senior Jamie Mainez from third to give the Yellow Jackets a 2-0 lead after one.
- Pace answered in the bottom of the first with a run of their own to make it 1-0.
- The Setters pulled away in the bottom of the second inning. One eight hits and one AIC error, the Setters were able to push nine runs across to make it a 10-2 game.
- In the bottom of the third inning, Pace added two more runs on two hits to make it 12-2.
UP NEXT:
- AIC will travel to Albany, New York to take on the Golden Knights of Saint Rose on Wednesday, April 18. First pitch of the doubleheader is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
