LAST TIME OUT:
LAST TIME THEY MET:
  • Junior back Chelsea Davis made a defensive save that tied the single-season record for AIC, but the Panthers beat the Yellow Jackets 5-0 at Abdow Field on October 14, 2017.
  • Jackie Brown had a goal and two assists to lead the way for the Panthers offense, while the defense held AIC to just three shots on goal.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS:
  • Because of the make-up game against LIU Post, the Panthers will be taking the field for their third game in five days, though all have been part of what is now a four-game homestand.
  • The team has notched 24 goals and 17 assists, but five players account for 23 goals and 14 assists, with six tallies each by Elissa Frein, Danielle Kempf, and Emily Power, four goals and six assists for Brown, and a goal and five helpers for Kate Manson.
  • Brown's six assists stand third in the NE10, while goalkeeper Leah Savage's .798 SV% is fourth-best in the conference.

CAN'T SPELL DAVIS WITHOUT DSV:
  • Having broken the NE10 career record, Davis's 28defensive saves stand second overall in NCAA Division II history, behind only Danielle Jones of Mercy, who owns the current Division II record with 29. Jones, who played from 2011-14, was teammates with current AIC assistant coach Olivia Kelly.
  • With nine so far this year, Davis is also closing in on her own school record, co-held with Katrina Heterbring '11, of 11 defensive saves in a single season. That mark stands tied for fourth in NE10 and tied for eighth in NCAA DII history; both the conference and national records are held by Saint Anselm's Jen Doherty, who had 19 in the 2003 season.
