- Pace continued to roll as they jumped out to a 10-2 lead and forced the Yellow Jackets to call a timeout with 14 left in the opening frame. The Yellow Jackets then went on a 5-0 run to make it a three-point game.

In the last 10 minutes of the second half the Yellow Jackets chipped away at their deficit and by the five-minute mark, AIC had made it a three-point game, 19-16. Vidal made it a two-point game with 35 seconds left in the first half, 22-20. Williams put up the pass from Durant with six ticks left to tie the game at 22 at the break.
- In the opening two minutes of the second half, the Yellow Jackets had taken the lead twice while the Setters had only tied the game. AIC went up by four, 27-23, at the 16:36 mark. Pace started to dig themselves out of the hole and took the 36-34 lead with 11 and a half to play.
- The Setters were up 42-41 when they went on a 12-0 run in three minutes and made it a 54-41 game.
