Saturday, September 30.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- AIC got on the board first with a one-yard rushing touchdown from Samad Davila with less than a minute remaining in the first-quarter.
- With less than ten minutes remaining in the second-quarter, Cyriacus Ibezim tackled Fairweather in Saint A's own end zone for a safety, extending AIC's lead to 9-0.
- The Yellow Jackets tacked on three more with a 22-yard field goal attempt from Jacob Tondel with just under five minutes to go in the third-quarter.
- With less than two minutes left, Darien Keith put the cherry on top of the AIC victory with a 76-yard pick-six.
GAME NOTES:
- AIC is now on a two-game winning streak.
- The Yellow Jackets have held their last two opponents to seven or points or less. The last time AIC did this was in 2008 in week four and five. On September 27th, the Yellow Jackets beat Husson 35-7. The next week, AIC beat Saint Anselm on the road, 37-6.
- Ibezim's tackle for a safety gave AIC their first defensive points for the season.
- Melchiorre now has an interception in two consecutive games.
- This was AIC's first shutout of the season. They got two last year against Pace (3-0) and Stonehill (19-0).
- The last time the Yellow Jacket had two defensive scores in a game was on October 3rd, 2015 against LIU Post. The Yellow Jackets had two pick-sixes, one by Andrew Justice and Malik Copper, in their 44-17 win over the Pioneers.
