WALTHAM, Massachusetts - The American International College field hockey team fell 3-0 to the Bentley Falcons in Northeast-10 Conference action on Saturday, September 30.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Bentley had the best chance of the first half, drawing a penalty stroke at 23:45, but Alexis Torosian turned aside Niki Neidhart's bid with her stick.
  • The Falcons scored on an early penalty corner in the second frame to take a 1-0 lead as Christina Knell fired a shot home at 39:59.
  • Knell doubled Bentley's lead, taking a breakaway pass and firing a reverse shot from the left side of the circle just inside the right post at 56:05.
  • Mikayla Ullrich blasted home a penalty corner goal at 68:52 to close out the scoring.
