PLAYER'S CORNER:
  • On her own performance, Demanche said, "I went into the game knowing they averaged over 20 shots a game, so I was ready for them to shoot a lot. I know they're a very technical team, so I came out a lot when I needed to. I expected a lot of action."
  • On the team as a whole, Demanche said "We played up to them. We've been playing down to teams, but today everyone connected and I think it proved that we are capable of being as good as we were expected to be."
