PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island - The American International College women's rugby team took the field on Sunday afternoon at the Brown 7s Invitational. The Yellow Jackets went 1-3 on the day.

The first game for the Yellow Jackets was against powerhouse Quinnipiac University. The Bobcats, who won the AIC 7s Invite last weekend, handed AIC the 41-0 loss. AIC then took on Dartmouth College, but the Big Green were too much for the Yellow Jackets, as they took the game by a score of 38-0. At 3:40 p.m., the Yellow Jackets beat Molloy College by a score of 17-12. Rounding out the day was a game against West Chester, which AIC dropped by a score of 19-5.

Kayla Clark, Anne-Laurence Harvey, Bridget Kahele, Anna Mbengam, and Shamira Robles all received their All-American certificates on Sunday afternoon.

The Yellow Jackets will return to action on Saturday, April 15, when they participate in the West Chester 7s tournament.
