In the fifth, Lopez-Perez and DiLeo came up big again. A triple from Lopez-Perez scored Lydia DePina. A ground out from DiLeo followed but that scored Lopez-Perez and AIC was in total control, leading 5-0.

In the bottom of the fifth, AIC's 25-inning streak of keeping opponents scoreless ended as Cassidy Sorenson hit a solo home run to left-center to put Franklin Pierce on the board.

Lopez-Perez responded with a home run of her own in the seventh, capping off an incredible game for her and the Yellow Jackets, as they won 6-1. Camargo earned the win and Paquette took the loss.

In the second game, Jillian Bedard started in the circle for AIC and Amelia Mamone started for Franklin Pierce.

Pierce drew first blood in the second inning as Aubrey Bianco doubled to left-center and scored Jaclyn Cortese. AIC got the run back immediately in the third inning as a ground out from Sarah Baganz scored Ashley Hughes, tying the game.
