SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts-The American International College men's basketball team fell, 90-76, in the final day of the AIC Holiday Classic against the Bears of Bloomfield.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Off the tip, the Yellow Jackets controlled the ball and Williams knocked down the long ball to score the first points of the game. The Bears then went on a 5-0 run to take their first lead of the game at the 18:30 mark, and shortly after went on a 6-0 run over a two-minute span to give them the 24-17 lead.
- The Bears continued to roll late in the first half. With 3:38 left, Fleming started a run and they grew their lead to 12, 39-27 with 2:30 left. The Yellow Jackets battled back and made it a six point game at the break, 42-36.
- The two teams jousted over the first five minutes of the second half as Bloomfield led by six after just over five minutes in. The Yellow Jackets then started to make a little push. Anderson knocked down a pair of free throws to make it a five point game. The next AIC possession, the Yellow Jackets got two offensive rebounds before Durant made it a three point game on the put back with 12:19 on the clock.
- That was as close as AIC would get, however; over the stretch run, the Bears grew their lead to as much as 19 before taking the game by 14, 90-76.
GAME NOTES:
- Anderson had a career day against the Bears. He recorded career highs in points (20), field goals made (eight), rebounds (16), and assists (three).
- AIC outrebounded the Bears 38-27. This season, the Yellow Jackets have out-rebounded their opponents in ten of their 12 games.
- The Yellow Jackets have recorded 10 or more offensive rebounds in 10 straight games. The last time the Yellow Jackets had 10 rebounds of more in seven straight games was back in the 2015-26 season when they did it over seven games between November 24 and December 17.
