Football drops season finale at Stonehill

SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts The American International College Football team rounded out the regular season at Stonehill. The Yellow Jackets fell to the Skyhawks 38-27

RECORDS: AIC is now 2-8 and 2-7 in Northeast-10 Conference play, while Stonehill improves to 6-4 and 5-5 in NE10 action.

AIC Offense: Jordan Hiscoe (215 yards passing, one passing touchdown), Kwame Jarvis (101 yards passing, one touchdown)Samad Davilia 72 rushing yards), Adam Salvadori (10 rushes, 64 yards, two touchdowns), Ju'an Williams (124 receiving yards, one touchdown)

AIC Defense: Cyriacus Ibezim (10 tackles), Jaquese Johnson (nine tackles), Lorenzo Melchiorre (nine tackles)

Stonehill Offense: Matt Foltz (278-yards passing, one touchdown), Brian Kearns Jr. (90-yards receiving, two touchdowns), Andrew Jamiel (123 receiving yards, one touchdown)

Stonehill Defense: Donovan Phanor (nine tackles, one interception), Nick Bona (nine tackles)

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Skyhawks were on the board just three minutes into the game on a five-yard rush by Matt Foltz.
AIC answered with a minute left on the clock in the opening quarter with a 27-yard touchdown thrown by Hiscoe and caught by Williams to tie the game up at 7-7.
The Yellow Jackets scored again early in the second quarter on a one-yard Salvadori run to put them up 14-7.
The Skyhawks started to pull away before halftime as they scored three times unanswered, two touchdowns and one field goal.
AIC break the streak almost five minutes into the second half with another one-yard touchdown run by Salvadori.
Stonehill scored one in the third and the fourth to give them the 38-21 lead.
Ernst Papillon added a touchdown with 1:20 left in the game, but it wasn't enough as the Skyhawks took the game 38-27.

GAME NOTES:
This is the first time in known program history that three players that are listed as quarterbacks have scored in the same game.
The 27 points put up by the offense is the most in a loss this season.
