MATCH NOTES/COACH'S CORNER:

• "Meri knocked off Stonehill's number one player in straight sets in the second longest singles match of the day," said AIC tennis coach Loni Hammons. "Meri played an aggressive game, really going for her shots, forcing a lot of errors and pushing Barbetta out of her comfort zone. It was a great win from such a tough opponent.
• "Carleyah played the longest match of the day, saving a few match points in the second set and also really pushing her teammate to work hard to win. Our entire lineup today played some great tennis" said Hammons. "While the scores may not reflect it, we are competing stronger at every position & it is good to see the progress in each of them.
