The American International College men's soccer team will close out its regular season with a matchup on the road against Northeast-10 Conference-leading No. 10 Adelphi University on Friday, October 27.

LAST TIME OUT:
- AIC had a thrilling comeback win against Franklin Pierce on Wednesday, October 25, erasing a 3-1 deficit to win 4-3 at Abdow Field on Senior Day.
- Freshman midfielder Connor Hicks opened the scoring in the 26th minute to give AIC a 1-0 lead, but a penalty-kick goal made it a tie game at halftime.
- Two straight goals just more than a minute apart from Noam Kolakofsky gave the Ravens a 3-1 lead by the 58th minute.
- Four minutes later, though, the comeback was on, with a pair of goals from Jovanni Garcia at 61:06 and 68:10 to tie the game. Sophomore captain Jake Durham notched the game-winner with under five minutes to go.
- Adelphi posted a 2-1 win against Le Moyne College on Tuesday, October 24.
LAST TIME THEY MET:
- AIC and Adelphi played a tight contest at Abdow Field on October 25, 2016, falling 2-1 in double overtime.
- Adelphi held a lead from the eighth minute on, until Jason Burnusuz tied it at 1-1 with three-and-a-half minutes remaining. The Yellow Jackets nearly escaped with a point but James Thristino notched the game-winner for the Panthers with just five seconds left in the extra frame.
BUZZWORTHY:
- With an assist on Wednesday, freshman J.P. Rylah moved into a tie for fifth place in single-season program history for assists with his seventh of the year.
- By the end of Friday evening, the playoff seedings for the NE10 Tournament will be determined. With one game remaining, AIC sits in seventh place in the NE10 standings with 16 points in conference play. Franklin Pierce and Bentley sit tied for eighth just behind the Yellow Jackets with 14 points each. The top eight teams advance to the playoffs.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS:
- Adelphi's Andre De Giorgi ranks tied for third in the NE10 with 11 goals on the year and fifth with 23 points.
- The Panthers rank atop the NE10 in goals (40) and goals per game (2.67), while also allowing the third-fewest goals per game (0.84).
- Adelphi's sole conference loss this season came to Merrimack on October 14.
