MATCH NOTES/COACH'S CORNER:

• McLean and Jimeno-Vicentebattled hard at first doubles, and despite being down 7-1, the duo made an impressive four-game run to hold serve.
• "Our doubles energy was good today, but Saint Anselm was better," said AIC coach Loni Hammons."Going into singles, we knew it would be tough. Carleyah was able to pull out a two-set win in the longest match of the night, andthe team really rallied to support her. Meri had a tough matchup against Jess Perkins, who is a senior that holds one of the best records in Saint Anselm history."

NEXT UP:

• AIC will host Franklin Pierce University on Friday, October 13 at the Yellow Jackets' home courts at Forest Park. The match is set to begin at 2 p.m.
• This will be AIC's final home match of the season.
