SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College women's tennis team fell to Bentley University, 8-1, at Central High School on Tuesday afternoon.
Sophomore
Carleyah McLean had a strong showing on the day, teaming up first with senior
Isabela Daudt at first singles to come away with an 8-5 victory. McLean also rallied at first singles, falling to Bentley's Rachel Petrini, 3-6, 6-4, 10-8.
Daudt fell at second singles to Bentley's Hannah Fabianski, 6-1, 6-0. Senior
Eleanna Fulop had a 6-1, 6-1 showing at third singles, and teamed up with grad student
Logan Smith for an 8-3 finish at second doubles.
The Yellow Jackets next take action in a non-conference matchup against Nichols College, slated for 4 p.m. on Thursday.
