SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College women's tennis team fell to Stonehill College on Sunday afternoon by a score of 9-0 at Central High School.

Teaming up for the first time at first doubles, sophomore Carleyah McLean and senior Isabela Daudt put up an 8-3 score against Stonehill's Alexandra Vo and Victoria Barbetta. Individually, McLean faced off against Vo in a tough 7-5, 6-1 first singles match.

Daudt also had a strong showing, posting a 6-4, 6-2 score against Nicole Downey at second singles. Senior Eleanna Fulop fell 6-2, 6-3 at third singles, while pairing up with graduate student Logan Smith at second doubles for an 8-0 finish.

The Yellow Jackets will next take action on Tuesday, when they host Bentley University at Central High Schoolat 3 p.m.
