MANSFIELD, Mass. Senior starting pitcher Colin Sledzik (Higganum, Conn.) earned Northeast-10 Honor Roll recognition on the week 5 report as announced by the league office earlier today.

Sledzik turned in a 0.90 earned run average over two appearances with one start during the opening weekend for AIC.

The senior tossed a complete game in his only start of the week allowing just one earned run while striking out four during a 7-4 victory over Wilmington.

His other appearance of the week was in the opener against Barry University where he tossed a 1-2-3 eighth inning with one strikeout.

Sledzik is coming off an All-Conference season last year and started right back up where he left off after tossing four complete games in seven starts going 6-1 with a 2.19 earned run average.

The Jackets continue their southern swing as they battle Nyack this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. and take on Nova Southeastern at 6 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
