SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College women's tennis team fell to St. Anselm College, 7-2, on Wednesday, October 5, at Central High School.

Sophomore Carleyah McLean and senior Isabela Daudt played to an 8-6 victory at first doubles, beating the Hawks' Tess Malerbi and Meghan Golden. Senior Eleanna Fulop and graduate student Logan Smith fell 8-0 at second doubles, while Taeha Woodard and Yliannis Knaggs fell at third doubles, 8-2.

Fulop had the other victory of the day for the Yellow Jackets, beating Golden at third singles by a score of 6-2, 6-0. Daudt had a 6-3, 6-1 showing at second singles. Smith played to a 6-0, 6-1 finish at fourth singles, and Woodard fell 6-1, 6-0 at fifth singles.

The Yellow Jackets next play on Saturday, October 8, when they host St. Michael's College at Central High School on AIC's Senior Day.
