The American International men's soccer team will host the College of Saint Rose on Wednesday on Ronald J. Abdow Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 1-0 Homecoming win over the University of New Haven. Freshman Steven Hernandez scored the only goal of the match, while goalkeeper Sebastian Tamayo made six saves in the shutout effort. With that win, AIC improved to 6-7 on the season and 4-5 in the conference.

The last time AIC and Saint Rose met in 2015, the Yellow Jackets fell 3-0. In that game, goalkeeper Sebastian Tamayo stopped three shots.

Saint Rose comes off back-to-back double-overtime contests, beating New Haven 3-2 on October 11 and drawing with Southern Connecticut on October 15.Saint Rose is currently 5-6 overall and 3-5-1 in the conference.

The Golden Knights are led by Ryan Rooney, who leads the conference in both goals (11) and points (23) this season. Christian Esposito has been the only goalkeeper in net this season for the Golden Knights, and has posted a .753 save percentage while allowing 1.45 goals per game.
