Men's Soccer takes on Stonehill College

The American International College men's soccer team will travel to North Easton, MassachusettsonTuesday to take on Stonehill College. Kick off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 4-3 win in overtime on Saturday against Saint Michael's College. Freshman Jake Durham had six points in the contest which put him in a tie for the second most points (18) among players in the Northeast-10 for the season. His performance also earned him NE-10 Rookie of the Week honors.Graduate students Jason Burnusuz and Benjamin Jepson both scored their first goals of the season. The victory pushed AIC to a 5-6 record on the season and a 3-4 mark in conference play.

When AIC and Stonehill met last, on October 13,2015, the game ended in a 1-1 tie. Now-senior Juan Correa assisted on the game-tying goal in the 41st minute.

This season, the Skyhawks are 2-5 in the conference and 4-7 overall. Adam Branco leads the way for Stonehill, with ninepoints on the season. The team is averaging1.27 goals scored per game while allowing an average of 2.25 goals per game. Goalkeeper Conor McDonough has seen the most time in net, with a .633 save percentage on the year.
