Men's Soccer Shutout Saint Anselm 1-0

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The American International College men's soccer team earned a 1-0 Northeast-10 victory at Saint Anselm College on Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets improve to 5-9-2 overall and 5-5-2 in the conference, while the Hawks drop to 5-9-1 overall and 5-6-0 in the NE-10.

Freshman back Frazer Cronin (Bromley, England) put AIC on the board at 42:21 in the first half off a dish from senior midfielder Conor Doyle (Douglas, Ilse of Man). Cronin's goal proved to be the only one the Yellow Jackets would need to earn the victory.

Junior goalie Jason Ryan (Peabody, Mass.) made six saves in the win, while senior goalie Eric Moriarty (Center Harbor, N.H.) stopped eight in the loss.

AIC outshot the Hawks 12-9 and held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.

The Yellow Jackets will host Southern New Hampshire on Friday night for a 7 p.m. Northeast-10 contest at Ronald J. Abdow field.
