Winter Park, Fla. - Bentley University scored five runs in the final two innings to record a 6-3 victory over the American International College baseball team Tuesday night at Rollins College. The Falcons (4-9) evened the score at one in the top of the fifth as sophomore left fielder Mark Lane (Tyngsboro, Mass.) tripled down the right field line to lead off the inning and then scored on senior center fielder Brett Damato's (Commack, N.Y.) sac-fly to center.
The score remained 1-1 until Bentley pushed four runs across in the top of the eighth, with most of the damage coming from junior right fielder James Roche's (Arlington, Mass.) three-run bomb to left, and added another run in the ninth to take a 6-1 lead.
