AIC closed the regular season with an overall record of 14-13, including a 12-10 mark in the Northeast-10, with their fourth consecutive win and their seventh in 10 games. The Setters dropped to 10-17 overall and 8-14 in conference play.

Senior guard Laurence McGhee (Linden, N.J.) scored 19 points and grabbed seven boards to lead Pace, while sophomore guard Justin Alston (Bronx, N.Y.) scored 15 points with four rebounds and three steals off the bench. Sophomore guard Adrian Mills (Woodbridge, Va.) scored 11 points with five rebounds and three assists, and freshman forward David Eismeier (Burke, Va.) netted 10 points.
AIC shot 50 percent (28-56) from the field, 36 percent (9-25) from three and 72.2 percent (13-18) from the free throw line while holding the Setters to 35.2 percent (25-71) from the field and 20.8 percent (5-24) from three. Pace was 13-of-16 (81.3 percent) from the charity stripe.
The Yellow Jackets led for all but the opening 4:41 of the game and led by double-digits most of the way. AIC used an early 12-2 run to take the lead for good and led by 13 at the half, 47-34, after Troll drained a three as time expired in the period.
The lead grew to 20 after a 9-0 run made it 61-41 6:11 into the second half, but the Setters rallied with a 17-6 run to pull back within seven, 65-58, with 5:55 left in the game. AIC responded with a 7-0 run to push its lead back to 14, 72-58, with 3:19 to go.
The Northeast-10 will announce the 2010 championship tournament pairing later this evening.
