WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army scored the first five goals of the game as it cruised to a 9-3 Atlantic Hockey victory over the American International College men's ice hockey team Friday night. The Black Knights improved to 3-6-0 overall and 2-5-0 in the AHA, while the Yellow Jackets fell to 1-6-0 overall and in league play.
Junior forward Danny Colvin (Vernon, N.J.) scored a power play goal, the first of his two goals 8:17 into the game with assists from junior defenseman Marcel Alzarez (Cleveland, Ohio) and senior forward Cody Omilusik (Traverse City, Mich.). Omilusik scored a power play goal and had two assists, while Colvin also recorded an assist on the night for Army.

Blake Peake (Lethbridge, Alb.) scored AIC's first goal of the night 6:05 in to the third period with an assist from senior defenseman
Mike Little (Enfield, Conn.) to make the game 5-1 for the Black Knights. Sophomore forward
Nick Grasso found the back of the net of a pass from senior forward
Tom Mele (Bronx, N.Y.) Mele had a two point night with one goal and one assist for the Yellow Jackets. Junior defenseman
Rob Blanchette (South Boston, Mass.) recorded the assist on Mele's goal.
Eight players scored a goal in the game for the Black Knights. Junior forward Mike Hull (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.) had a goal and one assist, while junior forward Bryant Skarda (Lake Elmo, Minn.) had two assists.
Senior goaltender Jay Clark (Baudette, Minn.) made 29 saves in net for Army to earn the victory, while sophomore goaltender
Ben Meisner (Halifax, N.S.) stopped 18 in 42 minutes in the lose for the Yellow Jackets.
Holy Cross outshot AIC 33-32.
