SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The American International College men's soccer team recorded its fifth win in its last seven games with a 3-2 victory over UMass Lowell Saturday evening. With the win the Yellow Jackets move to 5-5-0 this season and to 2-3-0 in the Northeast-10, while the loss drops the River Hawks to 3-4-0 and to 2-3-0 in the conference. Sophomore #

Barnaba Madol# (Manchester, N.H.) gave the Yellow Jackets a 1-0 lead, finding the back of the net in the 12th-minute with an assist from Denomme. Just over six-minutes later, Denomme increased the Yellow Jacket lead when he buried a shot from 25-yards out with a hand from freshman #
Adrian Baclawski# (New Britain, Conn.). UMass Lowell would not be down for long, as senior Corey Samuelson (Westboro, Mass.) and classmate Jeffery Danso (Worcester, Mass.) each tallied a goal in the final 25-minutes of the first half.

Prince Ojok# (London, England) netted the game-winning goal from less than 10-yards out with an assist from Denomme.

Ryan Brooks-Newton# (Selkirk, N.Y.) played well between the pipes for AIC, making 11 saves to earn the victory, while classmate Ryan Richards (Holden, Mass.) stopped seven shots in the loss for the River Hawks.
UMass-Lowell outshot the Yellow Jackets 21-15 on the afternoon and held a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks.
