Four players scored in double-figured for the Penmen (13-11, 9-10 NE-10), led by a 17-points, four rebound performance from senior guard Troy Bowen (Nashua, N.H.). Sophomore guard/forward Tory Stapleton (Rahway, N.J.) netted 12 points with five rebounds, while junior guard/forward Stephen Wood (South Jamaica Queens, N.Y.) and sophomore forward Cory Vejraska (Alachua, Fla.) added 10 points each.

The Yellow Jackets opened the game with an 8-2 run and led by one after Senat converted a three-point play, making a layup as he was fouled and sinking the ensuing free throw, to give AIC a 22-21 lead with 6:56 to go in the first half. Stapleton then gave Southern New Hampshire the lead for good with a layup of his own 22 seconds later, which triggered a 10-0 Penmen run to close the first half.
SNHU led by eight, 45-37, after a Hynes-Guery free throw at the 9:12 mark of the second half before going on a 10-0 run to take a commanding 55-37 lead with 4:13 to go in the game. The Penmen followed that with a 9-0 run to take their biggest lead of the game, 66-45, with 1:01 left on the clock.
Southern New Hampshire shot 43.1 percent (25-58) from the field and 40-9 percent (9-22) from downtown.
The Yellow Jackets will look to bounce back Wednesday when they host UMass Lowell at 7:30 p.m. in a Northeast-10 contest.
