In the first period, Brown stepped out to a 3-0 lead, as sophomore Jack Maclellan (Calgary, Alb.), classmate Jeff Buvinow (Turnersville, N.J.), and senior Aaron Volpatti (Revelstock, B.C) each netted goals in the first 10-minutes. Steve McLeod# (Atikokan, Ont.) and McMillan were credited with the assists. With less than three-minutes remaining in the period, junior Harry Zolnierczyk (Toronto, Ont.) increase the Brown lead to 4-2 when he netted an unassisted goal.
After a scoreless second period, the Bears added a goal late in the third for the 5-2 victory.

Dan Ramirez# (Rochester, N.Y.) made 32 saves for the Yellow Jackets, while sophomore Mike Clemente (Great Falls, Van.) stopped 26 shots for the win.
AIC was outshot 32-26 on the night, but held a 14-7 advantage in the second period.
