Five Yellow Jackets Make NE-10 Honor Roll

South Easton, Mass. - Freshman Aaron McNab (West Springfield Mass.) of the men's lacrosse team, senior Caitlin Mooney (Westfield, Mass.) of the women's lacrosse team, senior David Dest (Orange, Conn.) of the baseball team and juniors Sara Puglisi (Amsterdam, N.Y.) and Deanna Zanetti (Hampden, Mass.) of the softball team all earned recognition on the Northeast-10 honor roll for their respective performances this past week.

McNab who is second on the team in scoring, totaled five goals and registered six points this past week. He scored twice against Saint Anselm and netted three goals with one assist against Franklin Pierce. AIC dropped both competitively played contests.

Mooney has been a nice impact for the women's lacrosse team since returning from injury. The senior scored seven goals and recorded an assist this past week, she totaled six of the team's nine goals against Norwich, while also adding an assist.

The softball team earned two honor roll selections. Puglisi earned her way onto the list after pitching five innings allowing only two runs in a game one victory over Molloy Saturday. Zanetti batted .750 (6-8) with five RBI and four runs scored in a doubleheader sweep at Molloy. She went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI in game one and was a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored in game two.

For the baseball team, Dest cracked three hits and drove in four runs in AIC's setback to Bentley. He also drove in a run and had a hit against Stonehill.
