Air Force jumped out to an early 1-0 lead when senior Josh Frider (Moorhead, Minn.) found the back of the net at 3:32 in the first period with assists from classmates Michael Mayra (Anchorage, Alaska) and Brent Olson (Baudette, Minn.). Sophomore Jacques Lamoureux (Grand Forks, N.D.) added two goals for the Falcons early in the second period to stretch the Air Force lead to 3-0.
