Jacki Lapointe# (Danvers, Mass.). Junior Moll Clay (Rockport, Mass.) got UMass-Lowell on the board after AIC took an early 1-0 lead. Clay was assisted by senior Michelle Harington (Rockport, Mass.) The River Hawks then jumped out to a 2-1 lead when sophomore Katie Enarie (Amesbury, Mass.) scored just five minutes after Clay. Senior Jill Tierney (Newburyport, Mass.) also scored, sealing the 3-1 victory for UMass Lowell.
Sophomore Amanda Carbon (Bellingham, Mass.) needed to make just one save to earn the victory for the River Hawks.
AIC was outshot 41-3 by UMass Lowell.
