American International College

Summer Dutton joined the athletic communications staff in the fall of 2020 as a graduate assistant. Dutton is the primary point of contact for six of AIC's teams, and serves as the secondary media contact for the ice hockey team as well as in-game statistician and graphic designer for the ice hockey team and department's social media accounts. 

Dutton's efforts have led to tremendous success for the ice hockey program's social media accounts; she was directly involved in three of the four months in the history of the team's Twitter account to have over one million unique impressions. 

A 2020 graduate of Atlantic Hockey Association rival Mercyhurst University with degrees in marketing and sport business management, Dutton spent four years working with the Lakers athletic communications staff as a student assistant. There, she served as a marketing intern, and was responsible for the Lakers social media and general coverage of the ice hockey team, including creating graphics and video content for the team, as well as in-game promotions.

Dutton is a native of Ludlow, Massachusetts, and is seeking a master’s in business administration from the College.
