American International College

Mario Costa joined the American International College men's soccer coaching staff prior to the start of the 2020-21 season. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position, where he will assist in all aspects of the program.

Costa's coaching experience includes two stints with the Stonington High School program in Connecticut, including a 2018 conference title and a run to the state semifinals. He also has club coaching experience with the South East Soccer Club and the Stonington Soccer Club. Alongside that, his playing experience includes four years at Northeast-10 Conference rival Southern Connecticut State University, where he earned three All-Confrence selections and helped the Owls to a trio of NCAA Tournament berths, captaining the team his senior year in 2013. 

Costa has a bachelor's degree in public health from Southern Connecticut.
