American International College

Kevin Konstant joined the American International College athletic training staff as an assistant athletic trainer in April 2021, and was named Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Performance in November 2022. He brings a wealth of experience in multiple aspects of athletic training to the College.

Prior to joining the Yellow Jackets staff, Konstant spent just shy of six years as the head athletic trainer at The MacDuffie School, a local private middle and high school in the Springfield area. There, he provided athletic training services to a total of 21 teams between middle school, junior varsity, and varsity levels, working to prevent, treat, and rehabilitate injuries as well as administrative duties.

In addition to his work directly with athletes, he taught health classes for grades six through 10 beginning in January 2018. He previously also served as the school's summer program director.

Konstant graduated from Springfield College in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training. He is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer with CPR, AED, and First Responder certifications, and is a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association.
