Jacob Chaimovitch

American International College hired Jacob Chaimovitch as Assistant Equipment Manager beginning in late November 2025. He will assist with all aspects of the College's athletic equipment operations.

Chaimovitch has a variety of experiences across several areas. Most recently, he was the Operations Coordinator for the 2025 NCAA Men’s Final Four in San Antonio, Texas, where he worked through the planning and execution of Fan Jam Community Events. The job entailed assisting with other departments and projects from July 2024-May 2025, and included monthly site visits by the NCAA.

He also was the Athletic Facilities Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in the spring of 2024, where he assisted in the management of multiple facilities and events for the River Hawks’ 16 NCAA Division I sports.

More locally, he was the Locker Room Supervisor at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s Spalding Hoophall Classic, serving as the first point of contact for fans, players, coaches, and personnel throughout the event, which is the largest high school basketball showcase in the country.

Chaimovitch also provided support at the IWLCA New England Cup in 2022 and 2023, and served as a Springfield Thunderbirds Game Day Intern during the 2021-22 season, working through the team’s first-ever run to the AHL’s Calder Cup Final, as well as with Hartford Athletic FC in the fall of 2022.

Chaimovitch graduated from Springfield College in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management with a sports analytics minor.
