David Yelle

David Yelle MS ’03 is in his second season as assistant coach for the women’s lacrosse team. His role is primarily to work with the defense.
 
Yelle provides the AIC program with three decades of women’s lacrosse coaching experience. From 1994 to 2017, he coached the Minnechaug Regional varsity program, which made a dozen appearances in the Western Massachusetts Division I Girls’ Lacrosse Championship during his tenure. Head coach Riley Brennan was one of his student-athletes while with the Falcons.
 
He previously coached at Mount Holyoke College as an assistant from 1989-1992 and as the head coach at Springfield College from 1992-1994.
 
Yelle has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, obtained from Anna Maria College in 1992, and a master’s degree in human resource development from AIC in 2003. He has utilized these to serve a number of organizations in his professional career, including MassMutual Financial Group, The Hartford, and AAA Pioneer Valley.
