Angelo Bruno was named Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations in May 2021 and promoted to Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations in June 2023. Bruno, a certified public accountant in the state of Connecticut, brings over a decade of experience to the position.

Bruno has worked in a number of companies over the past ten years in a variety of financial roles. From 2011 to 2013 he was an audit professional for G.T. Reilly & Co., where he provided accounting, auditing, and tax services to corporations and nonprofit organizations. From 2013-2016 he took a role at Right Choice Tax Preparation Inc., providing accounting and tax services to individual clients as well as business customers. Most recently, with Boyle & Fogarty Construction Co., Inc., from 2016-2020, he was a project manager/estimator, working with private companies and municipalities to place job estimates and bids, and control the administrative budgets for those projects, some of which valued at $5 million.

His athletic experience is equally impressive. He has served as a baseball coach for Lincoln High School in Rhode Island, and in 2020 attended the Fenway Sports Management University run by Fenway Sports Management and the Boston Red Sox. He also interned with the facilities and operations staff at Boston College. 

Bruno graduated from Stonehill College in 2011 with a bachelor of science in accounting and earned a master of science in sport administration from Boston College in 2021. While at Stonehill, he was a four-year member of the baseball team, captaining the Skyhawks in 2011 and earning Northeast-10 Conference Academic All-Conference honors as a junior.
