DARTMOUTH, New Hampshire - The American International College men's rugby team fell 55-29 to Dartmouth College in a Liberty Rugby Conference matchup on Saturday, September 20.
AIC is now 2-1 overall and in LRC play.
The Big Green struck first with a try in the ninth minute and converted; AIC was able to pull back within two despite taking a yellow card on a score by
Rocco Burdett in the 20th minute.
The home side pulled away with two tries and conversions before AIC got on the board again with a
German Rossi kick in the 32nd minute. Dartmouth added a try and conversion in stoppage time for a 28-10 halftime lead.
Dartmouth scored quickly out of the break, and although AIC did respond with another Burdett try and Rossi conversion, the Big Green was able to expand its lead with four more second-half tries. AIC's lone remaining score was aÂ
