NORTH ATTLEBORO, Massachusetts – The Northeast 10 Conference announced its 2025 Hall of Fame Class at the Conference's annual awards banquet on Tuesday, June 3. One of the inductees was American International College cross country and track and field star Ezra Mutai '22.

Mutai dominated from the start to the finish in his career just as he did in nearly every race. He sprung onto the scene as a first-year student-athlete by winning the NE10, East Region, and NCAA Division II National Championship in cross country in 2019, the first of six All-American awards he would ultimately win in a storied career.

In 2021, he became the second Yellow Jacket, following fellow NE10 Hall of Famer Leakey Kipkosgei, to win multiple national titles, and the first to win two individual national crowns, when he won the 10,000-meter run at the 2021 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championship.

In total, he won two NE10 cross country championships, three NE10 indoor track and field championships – two in the 5,000-meter run and one in the 3,000-meter run – and two NE10 outdoor track and field championships, both in the 10,000-meter run.
