CONCORD, New Hampshire - The American International College men's golf team finished sixth of eight teams at the Penmen Spring Invitational on April 18-19.

William Alberty was brilliant across the two-day tournament, opening with a birdie and completing his first round at one-under 71 thanks to birdies on the par-5 fourth hole and the par-4 fourteenth. He was even better on the second day, with seven birdies and a three-under 69, closing with birdies on two of the final three holes to finish fourth overall.
Max Shepardson was second for AIC with a combined six-over par in the two days, including three birdies; Brendan Raymond was seven over on a weekend that included four birdies, and Matt Garrity rounded out AIC's scoring contingent with a 12-over score including four birdies.
Daniel Kibe also competed for AIC, shooting a 14-over total; he finished day one with a birdie on the par-4 18 and notched three more on day two as well as AIC's lone eagle of the weekend, finishing in three strokes on the par-5 tenth hole.
