The American International College ice hockey team has revamped the schedule for the team's remaining Atlantic Hockey Conference regular season matchups with league rival Army West Point, head coach Eric Lang announced on Sunday, January 3. Two game dates have been shifted, while the other two contests have new locations.
"Being patient, adaptable, and willing to adjust on the fly are all things we have spoken about in depth here. One day you get a game taken away; the next day you have to play three times in five days against the same opponent," said Lang. "We are excited to continue to play games here. Our players' selflessness and commitment to doing things the right way make us very proud," he added.
AIC had originally scheduled a trip to West Point for Sunday, January 10; that game will now take place at the MassMutual Center, with a 4:05 p.m. puck drop. In kind, the contest originally slated for Springfield on Thursday, February 4 will now be played at Tate Rink. Game time for that contest is still to be determined.
The other two matchups, which had been planned for Friday, January 8 and Saturday, February 6 at West Point, will now take place on Wednesday, January 6 and Thursday, January 7. Both contests anticipate a 5:05 p.m. opening faceoff.
The four contests, and all Atlantic Hockey Conference matchups, are available to watch live via FloHockey.
