SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College women's basketball team cruised past Saint Rose 82-53 on Saturday, November 17 at Butova Gym in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Yellow Jackets came out of the gates strong, starting the game on a 9-0 run.
- AIC would hold on to that nine point lead at the end of the first quarter, leading over Saint Rose 20-11.
- In the second quarter, the Yellow Jacket's defense locked down the Golden Knights, allowing only five points. AIC would outscore Saint Rose 21-5 in the quarter and entered the half leading 41-16. Sophomore guard Ishanna Brown and senior forward Dana Watts combined for 23 points during the first half.
- The Yellow Jackets' lead would grow to 32 points after three quarters, up 64-32 with 10 to play.
- At the 5:31 mark in the fourth, AIC would get out to its largest lead of the game, up 34 points. Ultimately, AIC would hold on for the 82-53 win.
