Women's rugby ends the regular season with a victory

FAIRFIELD, Connecticut - The American International College women's rugby team wrapped up the 2017 regular season with a trip to Sacred Heart. The Yellow Jackets took the match by the score of 69-15.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Siale Alanti got AIC on the board twice in the first ten minutes of the game with two tries that gave the Yellow Jackets the 10-0 lead.
  • The Pioneers scored before Harvey found the try zone and added to Yellow Jacket lead at 17-5.
  • AIC added one more right before halftime and took the 24-10 lead into the locker room.
  • The Yellow Jackets continued to change the scoreboard as they score six straight to open the second half. Both teams scored one more time in the game as AIC took the match 69-15.
