SYRACUSE, New York - The American International College women's tennis team lost a tough battle to Le Moyne College, 9-0, on Wednesday afternoon.
Sophomore
Carleyah McLean and senior
Eleanna Fulop put up the biggest fight of the day, teaming up at first doubles. Their match lasted an hour and 15 minutes and ended in an 8-6 loss to Le Moyne's Tiffany Dun and Amica Benoit-Limosani.
McLean also battled at first singles against Rithika Vajjiravelu, falling 6-2, 6-2. Fulop's second-singles loss to Benoit-Limosani ended in a 6-4, 6-0 result.
Graduate student
Logan Smith put up a 6-1, 6-0 result against Christina Perry.
AIC is in action next on Saturday when it travels to North Andover, Massachusetts for a match against Merrimack College.
