SETTING THE SCENE: The Yellow Jackets host the United States Military Academy Friday in the opener of the home-and-home with Saturday's contest in West Point, N.Y.

Jon Puskar (Canton, Mich.) net a shorthanded goal at the 18:34 mark of the third period to force overtime, but a Willie Faust's goal in the extra period downed the Yellow Jackets, 4-3, at the Olympia late in November.
AIC junior
Alexander MacMillan (Calgary, Alb.) net two power play goals, while Army saw four different goal scorers in the win. Puskar also assisted MacMillan's first goal for a two-point evening.
Yellow Jacket freshman netminder
Ty Reichenbach (Billings, Mont.) made 36 saves, while opposite him Rob tadazak stopped 21 in the winning effort.
ABOUT AIC: The Yellow Jackets split last weekend with Canisius, losing 4-1 Friday before downing the Golden Griffins the following night, 5-3, for their first win over them since the 2007-08 season.

Dan Clairmont (Braceridge, Ont.) net two goals, including a shorthander on Saturday, while classmate
David Norris tallied two assists for a team-leading 23 points. Defensman
Steven Hoshaw (Vista, Calif.), MacMillan, and
Jason Popek (Hamilton, Ont.) also found the back of the net.
Freshman forward
Mike Dietrich (Southampton, N.J.) scored the lone goal Friday night in the final minute to send Tony Capobianco back to the hotel without the shutout. AIC netminder
Hunter Leisner made 61 saves over the weekend and dropped his goals-against-average to 3.57 while increasing his save percentage to .904.
ABOUT ARMY: The Black Knights (3-16-0, 2-20-0 AHA) dropped a pair at Robert Morris last weekend; blanked 4-0 Friday and on the losing end of a hard-fought 6-4 decision the following evening.
Junior goalkeeper Rob Tadazak has started in 18 of the 23 games this season. Tadazak has a .873 save percentage and 4.28 goals-against-average. The Black Knights have scored the fewest goals in the AHA with 44, led by C.J. Reuschlein's eight. Clint Carlisle has tallied the most Army points with 12 on six goals and six assists.
FAB FRESHMAN: Rookie's

Mike Dietrich were named to the Atlantic Hockey honor roll this week. Each had two points over the weekend
ASSIST KING: Freshman forward
David Norris (Calgary, Alb.) tied the program's Division I single-season record for helpers with 20 with his two assists last Saturday. Norris will look to take over sole possesion this weekend. Norris also rankes fifth among assist leaders in Atlantic Hockey and first among freshman.
NEARLY THERE: Coach Wright sits at 299 wins in his 30-year career as head coach at AIC; the only other coach to win 300 games with the Yellow Jackets is softball legend Judy Groff. Alexander MacMillian's five power play tallies are one off the record of six in one season, set in 2000 by
Tim Kolasa and most recently tied in each of the last two years by
Adam Pleskach, and his four game-winning goals are tied for the record Pleskach set in 2011.
