Rochester, N.Y. – The American International College men's ice hockey team lost Saturday night 6-1 against RIT. With the loss the Yellow Jackets fall to 4-17-1 this season and to 4-13-0 in Atlantic Hockey play, while the Tigers improve to 14-9-1 overall and to 13-4-1 in the conference.

RIT tallied three more goals in the second period to go on top 5-1. Seniors Bobby Raymond (Lucknow, Ont.) and Jesse Newman (Kelowna, B.C.) and sophomore Sean Murphy (Owatonna, Minn.) each netted a goal in the period for the Tigers. Dan Ramirez #(Rochester, N.Y.) made 18 saves on the night before being replaced by senior #
Tom Fenton# (Sarnia, Ont.), who had 18 stops of his own for AIC. Senior Louis Menard (Chicoutimi, Que.) stopped 16 shots before he was replaced by sophomore Jan Ropponen (Espoo, Finland), who made five saves of his own in the win for RIT.
The Yellow Jackets were outshot 42-22 on the evening.
