Saturday evening. The Yellow Jackets finish the year 8-23-5 overall and 8-19-3 in the conference. Army improves to 19-13-4 overall and 19-8-3 in the AHA.

The Yellow Jackets broke a three game scoreless drought against the Black Knights nine minutes into the first-period when Pavli redirected a
Chris Bolognino (Carol Stream, Ill.) slap-shot into the back of the net on the power-play.
Moments before a power outage stalled the game for nearly a half-hour Army forward Joey Ammon flicked a goal past Fenton's left shoulder to tie the game.
AIC freshman

The Yellow Jackets controlled the puck for a majority of the first period, edging out the Black Knights 12-11 in shot attempts.
After a barrage of shots on net, Army forward Ken Rowe swept the puck into the goal less than five minutes into the second period, tying the game at two.
Both squads played physical throughout what was originally an evenly played second frame, until Army forward Owen Meyer was tripped up on a breakaway with 49 seconds on the clock, causing the referees to award him a penalty shot.
With the crowd standing, Meyer buried a one-on-one with Fenton lifting the Black Knights to a 3-2 advantage.
The momentum swing continued in Army's favor as the clock dwindled down in the second. Senior Ken Rowe grabbed a feed from Cody Omilusik on a two-on-one and blasted it past a helpless Fenton, giving Army a 4-2 lead going into the final stanza.
Army reeled off six more shots than AIC in the second period, (14-8).
The Black Knights added on more score in the third frame, helping secure the two game sweep of AIC. Josh Kassel made 28 saves in net for Army.
